Hi everyone!

My name is Aileen. I'm a 27 year old living in Mexico City and I welcome you to my fresh new blog. I've always considered myself to be a crafty person; enjoying crochet, watercolour painting, drawing with markers and scrapbooking.

I had never tried sharing my creations before, but I've been motivated to start a TikTok account to upload the spreads that result from my day - to - day inspirations.

In this blog, I'll be sharing with you some my latest favourite products and links for purchasing. I'll also include my main sources of inspiration, as I try to describe in my TikTok comments. I hope these posts can transport you to the vision behind my videos.

From time to time I'll do my best to post step by step tutorials for some cute crochet patterns; anything from hair accesories: scrunchies, headbands, ribbons, as well as explanations on basic stitches.

As my audience is most likely to be Spanish speaking, I'll include the translation in both English / Spanish.

Me llamo Aileen. Tengo 27 años y vivo en la Ciudad de México y les doy la bienvenida a mi nuevo blog. Siempre me he considerado una persona muy crafty, y me encanta el crochet, pintar en acuarelas, dibujar con marcadores y el scrapbooking.

Nunca antes había intentado compartir mis creaciones, pero me motivó crear una cuenta en TikTok para subir las hojas que resultan de mis inspiraciones del día a día.

En este blog, estaré compartiendo con ustedes mis últimos productos favoritos y los links donde pueden encontrarlos. También incluiré mis fuentes principales de inspiración, así como los intento describir en los comentarios de TikTok. Espero que estos posts los puedan transportar a las visiones detrás de los videos.

De vez en cuando haré mi mejor esfuerzo por subir tutoriales paso a paso para patrones de crochet súper lindos. Cualquier accesorio de cabello: desde ligas, scrunchies, diademas, listones; así como las explicaciones de las puntadas básicas.

Como mi audiencia es muy probable que mayormente hablen español, estaré incluyendo ambas traducciones: inglés y español en todos mis posts.

I enjoy creating small videos of the scrapbook and junk journal spreads I make during the week.

I've tried recording some ASMR videos, but I'm figuring out the best way to capture sounds. As you can imagine, living in a big city tends to be super loud (and I don't think you'll like to hear my Uber Eats driver arriving in the middle of the video).

Usually, my videos are a 2 minute escape from daily stress, and I love pairing them with calming music that really just make you stop and relax. Sometimes my creations are more over the top (or so I think) and other times I try experimenting with more minimalistic designs.

I'm somewhat new in the platform but I'd really love if I could start interacting with profiles similar to mine. It's been a slow learning curve, as it requires balancing out the time to record and edit after a long day at my regular job.

He intentado grabar algunos videos de tipo ASMR, pero estoy todavía probando la mejor manera para capturar los sonidos. Como se habrán de imaginar, vivir en una ciudad tan grande suele ser bastante ruidoso (y no quisiera que escucharan al Uber Eats llegar en medio del video).

Por lo general, mis videos son un escape de 2 minutos del estrés diario, y me encanta hacerlos con música relajante que realmente hacen que uno se detenga y se relaje. A veces mis creaciones son más cargadas (o eso pienso) y en otras ocasiones intento experimentar con diseños más minimalistas.

Soy un tanto nueva en la plataforma, pero me encantaría poder interactuar con perfiles similares al mío. Ha sido una curva de aprendizaje algo lenta, porue requiere que esté balanceando el tiempo de grabar y editar después de un largo día en mi trabajo.
